Senior Interior Yacht Designer

For more than 45 years, Tony Castro has been internationally recognized for innovative yacht design, with more than approx. 13,500 vessels afloat worldwide.

Today, Oceanteriors creates bespoke interiors for superyachts, luxury residences, hospitality, aviation and other exclusive projects. Every project is individually conceived, combining creativity, functionality and technical excellence to deliver refined interiors for an international clientele.

As our portfolio continues to expand, we are looking for an experienced creative and original thinker, Senior Interior Yacht Designer to join our growing team in Cascais.

Location: Cascais Marina, Portugal
Employment Type: Permanent | Full-Time
Working Hours: Monday to Friday | 08:30–17:30
Expected Start Date: September 2026 (or by mutual agreement)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects from concept through completion.

  • Develop interior concepts and mood boards.

  • Prepare layouts, space planning and technical drawing packages.

  • Produce materials and FF&E specifications.

  • Coordinate suppliers, consultants and contractors.

  • Present design proposals to clients.

  • Attend meetings, negotiate contracts and site visits.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Interior Design

  • Minimum 5 years' professional experience.

  • Experience in luxury residential, yacht, aviation or hospitality interiors.

  • Excellent 3D Rhino skills.

  • Excellent Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Considerable experience in 3ds Max + Corona

  • Microsoft 365.

  • Microsoft Project (preferred).

  • Revit/BIM knowledge (advantageous).

  • Excellent written and spoken English.

  • Excellent written and spoken Portuguese.

  • Strong communication, organisation and presentation skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
